MERCI means thank you in French. A basic word that made a huge impact on our founder.

When Mariangela was 8 years old, her mom was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that lead doctors to think she would only survive 6 months. 

​

Mariangela's mom is a Catholic woman and she   prayed the rosary with strong faith that God would give her more time. 

​

In 2016, Mariangela was visiting Paris with her family.

They decided to visit The Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for the first time to say thank you at the chapel for the miracle of Angela (Mariangela's mother) being alive. 

​

While Mariangela was visiting The Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal   she realized that every time the Virgin Mary would concede a miracle from a believer's prayer at the Chapel, the believers would put up a plaque on the walls with the word "MERCI" thanking the Virgin Mary for the miracle.

Around this time, Mariangela was already dreaming about creating a brand. After visiting the Chapel she  prayed to the Virgin Mary to send her the courage to fulfill this dream while also keeping her mother alive.

​

Mariangela knew in her heart that if this dream ever came a reality she was going to be so grateful the brand was going to be named "MERCI."

 Years later MERCI was created and her mom is celebrating with her.
